About
Sydney Sanaa is a multi-disciplinary artist whose journey began long before stepping onto a college stage. Born in Chicago and raised between Crown Point and Gary, Indiana, she grew up in a family that nurtured her creativity, giving her the space to explore music, movement, and storytelling from a young age. By 16, she had graduated from Crown Point High School with honors and earned a full-ride scholarship to Berklee College of Music, making her one of the youngest students in her class and now on track to graduate at just 19 years old.
At Berklee, Sydney is studying Professional Music with tracks in music business, songwriting, and performance, and minoring in music therapy. Her artistry is a genre-bending blend of R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Gospel, Country, and Hip-Hop, shaped by her love for singing, lyric writing, arranging, dancing, acting, and choreographing. Every performance is a chance for her to weave together sound, movement, and emotion into stories that resonate far beyond the stage.
Sydney’s music is bold, theatrical, and designed to pull you in from the first moment. She approaches every project with complete dedication, building performances that tell a story and leave a lasting impression. Her passion for creating runs so deep that it fuels everything she creates. This is the work she was meant to do, and it is reflected in the care, energy, and emotion she brings to her craft.
